I've had some genuinely interesting jobs — from a White House internship in grad school to working at top NGOs — but none of them ever felt like me.
The one constant was tasting something for the first time and thinking — wait, how did I not know this existed?
I'm an American living in Italy, and Trovato ('found' in Italian) is about finding new foods that make me smile and sending that feeling of discovery to you!
Starting with just 100 boxes.
This first holiday box is a proof of concept — a small run, assembled by hand. It's still coming together: producers to visit, jars to taste, one or two arguments with myself about what deserves the last slot.

Boxes will ship in early December so they arrive before the holidays.
What if I buy this as a gift?
At checkout you can add a gift note. The box itself is gift-ready, so it will be shipped directly to the recipient.
Are the products shelf-stable?
Yes. Everything is selected to travel well and keep at room temperature, so it ships safely across the US.
What's in the box?
Inside you'll find six or seven shelf-stable specialty food items, representing different regions of Italy. It's an Italian gift basket for foodies — no filler, just the kind of things that make me stop in my tracks.
